Ammonia bottling plant for filling ammonia in cylinders from storage tank. The plant has the facility to receive bulk ammonia by pipeline from ammonia transport tank and store the same in storage tanks before filling the cylinders. The plant is equipped with other facilities like fire fighting system, leak detection system, cylinder testing unit, purging unit, evacuation unit etc
Ammonia vapourizer water heated bath type with internal coil & flame proof enclosure for conversion of liquid ammonia into vapour. This is used in industrial application where ammonia is stored in storage tanks and the same is required to be vapourised before using a pressure reducing system provided helps to effectively reduce the vapour pressure as required in the furnace.

Why is the rail transport of ammonia required?
Ammonia is used as a base chemical for a large number of intermediate products that findtheir use in many applications. As a result of international competition ammonia can onlybe produced economically in large scale production plants. If a production site has ammonia consumption that is a lot smaller than the economical size of an ammonia plant, it is required to transport ammonia to this site. Rail transport is regarded as a safe means oftransport for large quantities of ammonia if rail network is easily available.
What are the alternatives to rail transport?
The alternative forms of transport include pipeline, large sea-going vessels, river barges, rail tank cars and tank trucks. The most comparable transport form for large quantities versus rail tank cars is river barges.
